Bob, Ooops! Sorry 'bout the URL. Yes, you are right. It's .htm, not .html Another good site, if your STRONG's were members of the church, is http://www.disciples.org http://www.disciples.org/historc.htm Ironically, in this case, I am a member of the Disciples historical society not because of my STRONG ties, but because Thomas THOMPSON, my GGG-grandfather on my father's side, was a founder of the Christian Church movement in California. My STRONG ties are much further back and on my mother's side of the family (George STRONGE of Chard, 1556-1635/36). I have found my $20 dues to the Disciples of Christ Historical Society well spent, because they are very cooperative. They are as interested in the genealogies and histories of their members as we are. And as an example, my Aunt is a member of the society, too, and they once loaned her an out-of-print book (through the mail), so she could have it xeroxed! No charge. (Neither of us are members of the church, but that has never seemed to matter to the society.) Diana
