Hi all, The correct ancestry is on the SFAA Page. The Update books carried what we knew when they were published. As with Murphy's law the minute it was in print I found different information. I. George Stronge a. Thomas b. John Sr. c. Walter II. John Stronge Sr. - Wife unknown Children: a.)Elder John Strong b. c. 1610. M. Margerie Deane and Abigail Forde. b) Unknown - Possibly William Strong of Axminster Eleanor who was thought to have been his sister has been proven a daughter of William Cogan. He named her in a land lease as "My daughter Eleanor Cogan". The William that was thought to be Greorge's son because of the will of Margaret Strong in Chard. She turned out to be married to a different William and they were both the age of George. Any new information on The English Strong's will be at the Ancestry site on the SFAA Web. page. If an ancestry is not proven it will state it as research etc. Jim Gilbert sent me a lovely picture of the tombstone at Bridge St. Cemetery for all of us to see.
