And thanks again for answering my request so quickly. Well here goes with the information I have. Sarah Strong, born 1824, was the mother of Zachary Taylor Strong. He was born 2-13-1849 but I don't know were. And I don't have the name of her husband. Zachary Taylor Strong married Lizzie F. Diviney 6-17-1867. Lizzie past away 3-11-1880 and is buried at Knox, IN. They had four childern. Charles Nelson Strong born 5-6-1870 ; died 1940 Campbellsville, KY. Albertie May Strong 9-18-1872 died 12-13-1930 in Eaton, Ill; Cora Bell Strong 9-13-1873 died 7-12-45. Then my Grandfather William Taylor Strong was born in Cinn., Ohio, on 6-2-1877 he died in 1950 outside of Campbellsville, KY, and is buried in the Cemetery there. Two other childern were born but both died shortly after birth and are buried in Champagne, Ill . On 9-4-1882 Zachary Taylor Strong married Sarah Clevenger. No childern were born from this marriage. Sarah died 9-14-37. William T. Strong was an Electrician and help bring electricity to Taylor County, KY. He was never in the military. He married Etta Siler who was born 5-18-1874 and died 5-29-1906. They had four childern: Guy Samson ( my father ) born 6-22-1898 and died 8-4-1964; Arthur Strong born 11-4-1890 died Jan 1957. Beatrice Strong born 9-27-1904 died Jan 25, 1964. Wilma Strong born 11-7-1904 and died 12-12-1972. William then married LuLu Hickman who was born 12-21-1886 and died 2-17-1964 they had two childern James born 10-17-1916 died 5-21-1967 and Ada born 6-8-1920 and who is still living in Campbellsville, KY . Guy Strong served in the US Army in WWI and was in every major battle the Army fought in during the war. He was awarded the Silver Star, Two Purple Hearts, and The French Cross of War.
