I am new at this, but so far have traced my ancestors back to William Strong, born in Ireland in 1800 wife Mary born 1779. Believed to have lived in either Ermangough or Inniskillin. Left for Canada in 1842/43 and settled near Brantford ON. Some of the family,including William moved to Gorie in south-western ON. There are still Strongs in both places. Understand that there may have been a shipwreck in the St Lawrence on the way over. Anyone have further information on the subject?...............Don Strong
