Hello Everyone... I have posted another update for the DNA Study results. Additionally, I have created an experimental Most Recent Common Ancestor (MRCA) page for certain of the groups which I hope you will find "entertaining". And, I have made some changes in the presentation relating to Haplogroups, which may be of interest to some. I would invite your attention to the links to Dr. David Roper's website analyzing numerous families to determine whether they fit within paleolithic or neolithic haplogroups. Two of our kits were used in a recent update of Dr. Roper's analysis... kits #6811 and #6491. Also, I have included brief mention of the publicly searchable DNA databases.... Y-STR and Y-base. If enough of our participants submit entries to the Y-base database (and advise me of the fact) I may in the future add a link from the results page. Note, be careful when entering the data... I took care to NOT publicly list my name and email address when doing so. One can still be contacted thru the Database, which is part of the reason behind it, but identity can be protected from spammers, etc. We now have 22 sets of results posted. We have 4 kits at the lab for testing, and one sample kit not yet returned for testing. I suspect the four kits currently being tested will have results this coming week or the week following.
