Janet.... As a follow up to the prior message, I also took a look in the Irish Strong BMD Index for the death of a Thomas Strong and a Rose Strong, based on prior info concerning your search. I found no "Rose Strong" in the deaths section of the index... BUT, I did find a couple of likely Thomas Strongs... in 1873 and 1879, both in County Cavan. You might want to check these out using the same procedure as noted before in the Aid to Researchers section of the webpage.
