Hi, I'm still trying to find a reliable link between my family (who know live in South Africa) and the Strong's who were stonemasons (worked on St Paul's etc etc). I am getting there - thanks to a bit of intuition. However, some sort of DNA analysis would be ideal. I would like to know if there are any British/South African Strong's considering handing over their DNA for the study? Await results with interest. Best wishes Nicola Jenkin (+Strong) PS. For the past 2 years I have been conducting research on the Strong stonemasons - there is so much to piece together. I am hoping to publish something by the end of next year, or thereabouts. If anyone is interested, please get in touch. Nicola Jenkin 44c Rectory Road Oxford England e-mail: nicola@bestfootforward.com --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free. Hi Nicola.... Thanks for your message, below. So far, we have not had any DNA Study participants from your line... the South Africa - British Stonemason lineage. Do you have a male Strong relative in South Africa whom you could ask to participate in the study? We would welcome such an addition... and it would be a step in the right direction for proving the relationships between your South African family, the Stonemasons of St. Paul's Cathedral, and possibly the Irish County Wicklow-Dublin Strongs and other Strongs of Southwest England and beyond! Any help you can give would be appreciated!
