Greetings... By virtue of having many family historians and genealogists we (my husband and I) have a pretty substantial family tree to share with our children in the future. However, many branches are noticeably shorter than others! My Strong line is one of those lines!!! My father is James Arthur Blyler, b. 1930, Berkeley, CA to Ercil Frank Blyler and Hazel Delle Strong, b. 1898, Corning, CA Hazel Delle Strong was born to Albert Arthur Strong, b. 1869, probably in Illinois and Carrie Belle Streblow, b. 1870, Cass, Du Page County, IL. He died, probably in Corning or Santa Cruz, CA, shortly after my grandmother was born and I have no other information about him. He and Carrie Belle Strong had three other children: Arthur Frederick Strong, b. September 07, 1889, d. April 1969. Albert Edwin Strong, b. August 08, 1891, Illinois, d. January 21, 1963, Santa Cruz, CA, m. Helen Adele. and Ruth Louise Strong, b. March 23, 1896, d. January 1980, probably Sonoma County, CA, m. Harold Bellus. They had no children. I am hopeful to possible 'hook-up' with some Strong descendents who might share ancestors. BTW, this is a fits and spurts hobby for me as I have four children that I home-educate. We are hoping to incorporate family history into our school efforts this year...but this is still a work in progress :)...
