    3. Hi Nicola.... Your message is quite interesting. By separate emailing, I am forwarding some correspondance which I carried on with Jenny Self, Del Maw, Patricia Strong, and Julie Wells about a year ago. It will detail our interest in the lineage you are researching. To summarize, however, I maintain a website focused on researching Strongs in Ireland, and by extension, England and Scotland. See: http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~donegalstrongs/ and follow the links to Book One, 2nd Edition, and the Lineages Directory. Scroll down to Ireland, and County Wicklow; and back up to Timothy Strong of Stone Mason fame. You will find various links which may bear on the subject in which you are interested. If you are interested in looking at the Wicklow data we have in the recently updated Irish Strong Database, see: http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~donegalstrongs/wicklow.htm The hypothesis of interest to us is whether the Wicklow Strongs can be linked to the Stone Mason Strongs. There seems to be only about one missing generation... and perhaps you may be able to find the "missing link"! Obviously, the material I have has been gathered in a "peripheral" way, focused on the Irish end of the research with the English material being mostly references which might help in making the connection. I am hoping that Martha Strong, also a subscriber to this list, will pick up on this subject and provide a few insights as well. She is an "expert" on the Strongs of southwest England, and may be able to provide more help. Note her website: > "Welcome to my World": Martha F. (Brani) Strong's web site > http://www.geocities.com/Heartland/Prairie/7905/ She has compiled quite a bit of info re the Stone Mason Strongs both on the website and in her private research... some of which I mention in the separate mailing being sent to you. Please let me know whether the material I am providing is helpful... and we look forward to hearing further about your research findings!
