    3. Hi Debbie... Yep, it IS interesting! But, we need to test a male named Strong, Strang, Strange, Armstrong, etc. This is because we are testing the DNA on the Y-Chromosome, which is only carried by males. Females do not have the Y-Chromosome. The Y-Chromosome is passed from father to son thru many generations, with relatively little change... that is what helps us trace the family lineage involved. There are possibilities of mutation and the like which can make interpretation of results challenging... but we are learning a lot as we go. Please take a look at the DNA Study webpage, including the results page, and get back to me if we can sign up one or more of your Strong and Armstrong lines. Regards Dave Strong ...
