Dear Ralph and Glenn, A friend of mine died in the '60s of complications of childbirth and the child died also. They placed the baby down at her feet out of sight in the same casket, guess the pain of seeing the child would only add to the loss. There could be some cases, maybe, that the child was premature or not fully developed. Hope this helps a little. Va
