My name is Pamela Strong Turner, daughter of Carlos "Carl" Wilbert Strong (Sept. 1928-April 1985) & Eva Skelton-Strong, son of Herbert Franklin "Frank" Strong & Lula Green-Strong, son of Caley & Sarah Katherine Spears-Strong of Celina, TN. Caley's parents were Samuel Strong & Margaret Rich (TN), his parents were Joseph Strong & Morning Denton (KY & TN), his parents were Samuel Strong & Nancy Casteel (VA & KY), his parents were Thomas Strong & Mary Fields (VA), son of William Strong (VA), son of John Strong (VA). They are of the southern lineage of Strongs. My g-mother, Lula Green Strong, died when my father was still a boy, then my g-father, Frank Strong, remarried and had Aunt Irene Strong Causey, who lives in Indiana, & Uncle Chester Strong, who died out in California from what I was told.
