    3. Hi Listers: I have gotten this book from eBay called German Immigrant Servant Contracts - Registered at the Port of Philadelphia, 1817-1831 - Farley Grubb. There were only three listed Straub in the book. Of course, there were for Staub listed but wasn't sure if this would count for the Straub surname. So I will list the three only and if anyone else is interested let me know. September 28, 1818 Johan Georg Straub to Daniel Moyer farmer of Maxtany township Berks county for three years to have at the end of his term two complete suits of clothes, on thereof to be new & thirty nine dollars. Consideration = $77.30. September 29, 1818 Jacob Straub willing & with content as above to Francis C. Clopper for three years, to have six weeks schooling & be paid by his master twenty dollars with interest whenever he shall demand and the same at the end of the term to have clothes as above. Consideration = $37.25 August 24, 1819 Gottfried Straub, with consent of Jacob Keely, to John Kline of Emmery township Berks county, farmer, for three years & three months to have six weeks schooling for each year, and at the end of the term two complete suits of clothes, one of which to be new.
