Hello, I am a new member (as of yesterday) and I want to put in what little I know about my ancestors. My father's name was Ivan LeRoy and he had brother named Walter, sisters named Minnie, Lettie,Laura and Alida. My Grandfather's name was Frederick Whistler Stroup and I know (by his obituary) that he was born in Union County, PA in April of 1844. He married Henrietta Ford. He enlisted in the 44th Regiment of the Indiana Infantry in 1861 and served until 1865. This is as far as I can get into the past and sure would appreciate any information that would lead to his parents and/or siblings. Thanks for taking the time to read this.
