Sue, I have a Thaddeus Straub who came from Germany in 1836 and lived in Ohio. Two of his sons may have moved to PA who could have been a parent of your Sopharus. They are Joseph, born in 1828 and Jacob born in 1839. I don't know where they lived or if they ever went to PA.
