I received my copy of the following book yesterday: Annette Kunselman Burgert, "Grossgartach, Wuerttemberg, to Pennsylvania: Some Early Colonial German Immigrants" (Myerstown, PA: AKB Publications, 1999) It has just as you quoted: In a file at WorldConnect, William Brobst says "Hans Peter STRAUB," b. 18 Feb 1695 in Grossgartach, was the son of Hans Adam STRAUB and Anna Barbara DETSCHLER. That is what is in the book. There is absolutely no mention of the following couple even though the Kettemann family is included in the book: Grossgartach, Wuerttemberg, Germany (church records) Johann Peter Straub born 18 Feb 1695 to Hans Kristoph Straub and Anna Elisabetha Kettemann. Hans Kristopf Straub is the son of Martin Straub and Margaretha. Anna Elisabetha Kettemann is the daughter of Jorg Kettemann and Margaretha. Now, I can hardly wait for the film to arrive at the Family History Center so that we can find out which one has the right parents for the birth that took place on 18 Feb 1695!!
