THANK YOU for the tombstone transcriptions, Sue! I have a copy of Wagenseller's original book, but it is organized geographically, not alphabetically -- and has NO index! I've never had the patience to go through the book, page by page, to extract all the STRAUB/STROUP records. One warning with Wagenseller. There are errors in some of the birthdates calculated from the age at death. Sometimes the birthdates are off by several years, not just a few days or months. I don't know whether the errors are Wagenseller's or someone else's, but they are there. I always double-check birthdates calculated from age at death -- from any source -- using Ben Buckner's Javascript Birthday Calculator.
