Of course, anything I ever send is meant to be copied and used by everyone. That is the only way we ever learn anything is by sharing. I am going to the FHC tomorrow and order that film for Grossgartach and I ordered the book on-line today from Willow Bend Books. Took me forever to find someone on-line that was selling the book, so I will let others know that is where it is. Annette K. Burgert, Grossgartach, Wuerttemberg, to Pennsylvania. Yes, it's been awhile. No, I have no problem with your Stephen and Mary. I'm just TERRIBLY behind on getting the web site up to date. There is a great deal of material that has been sent, not just recently, but in past months, too, that I need to incorporate. Please don't hesitate to pester me. I will keep working at getting it online. If you don't mind me quoting you at length and verbatim, I could attach the info you just sent to the Sources of Mary's page. Would that be OK? (With due credit to you, of course.) Diana
Gwen, I ordered all of Annette K. Burgert's publications from her at AKB Publications, 691 Weavertown Road, Myerstown, PA 17067-2642. Also, you might want to look at the Birmensdorf, Switzerland, Census of1660 from FHC. There are many STRAUB families listed. In the July 1989 Mennonite Family History magazine, there are names of STRAUBs who moved to Wurttemberg and some who went to the Palatinate. Hi Shirley; Thanks so much for the info. I already own some of Annette's wonderful books. I look forward to getting the Grossgartach book and reading the microfilm. We are making wonderful progress on the Straub family. It is always so good to get them back to Germany and Annette Burgert's books have solved several of my German lines.
