I am very interested in your Wisconsin STRAUBs. "My"Jacob Straub was born in 1816 in Germany and came to Wisconsin between 1849 and 1854. I don't know where they were in Wisconsin, but believe they went there because of other family members. They were in Marshall County, Kansas by 1860. Jacob married Maria Petri in Germany and they were the parents of three children: Jacob, 1849 in Germany; John, 1955 in Wisconsin; and Mary, about 1860 in Kansas.
