Well folks I hve saved several Straup messages lately and now I shall respond generally. I had Straup, Stroups in my lines. They too lived in Snyder, and Center Co., Penn. in the 1800s. Some of the names they connected with (spouses) were Catharine, Elizabeth Riggs, Shatterly, Fryburger, Hanes, Riggs and Frasier. My Straups moved to Clermont Co., Ohio near Cincinnati and married into various families there. My particular Straup married a Reader and some of the descendants moved west to Tipton, Cedar Co., Iowa. Does any of this connect with any of yours? I can be much more specific if need be.
