In the 1880 census of Monterey Twp., Allegan Co., MI (p. 194D), there is a William STROUB (34, OH) with wife Caroline (33, OH), with children: Mary E. (12, MI), Ada A. (11, MI), and Anna F. (10m, MI). Does anyone know the identity of William's parents? Or Caroline's maiden name? Or where he is in the 1870 census? The birthplaces of the children indicate they were in Michigan in 1870, but I can't find them.
