    2. Hello again, Here's two more Straubs I found in censuses that are not from my Straub line. 1870 Bertrand Twp., Berrien Co., Michigan pg. 48 or 18 enumerated on Aug. 10, 1870. STRAUB, Anthony 43 male white Farmer R.E. value-$5000 Per. value-$1201 born-Prussia both parents-foreign born (same of all in family) Caroline 42 female white houseKeeping born-Prussia Minnie 16 female white at home born-Mich attends school Charles 13 male white ----- born-Mich Mary 12 female white ----- born-Mich Eliza 8 female white ---- born-Mich **in column 15--attends school within the year column 16--cannot read column 17--cannot write There is a mark in all these columns for Charles and Mary. I'm not sure if it is yes they can rear and write or no they can't. And for Eliza only column #15 has a mark in it. 1870 London Twp.
