I just went thought my files and found a few neglected Straubs that I haven't looked into so if anyone can help with info I would appreciate it; The following Straubs are the children of Benjamin, Jr. and Rebecca Benner Straub. The name is spelled STROUB consistently for this family even on the headstones of Benjamin and Rebecca; **ALL BORN IN HANCOCK COUNTY OHIO*** FLOYD STROUB b. bet. 1873-74 he may be married to GLADYS D ???? but I'm not sure. Lovina ???? **I did find a DAVID B. STROUB age 44 in 1910 so the date of birth fits, born in Ohio Wyandot Co., Ohio and I find no records of the family living in this county ???? married to Lovina C 41 b.Ohio and there children are listed as RAY C. 16 b.Ohio LLOYD B. 11 b.Ohio and CARL L. 5 b.Ohio. This is from the 1910 ohio census Miracode index, Ancestry.com. Also I'm still trying to get the right birth year for my Grandfather Frank Straub of Jackson Mi. All records I have, when calculated give different years plus the years don't match the place the family was living in at that time. The death cert. is also questionable. he Social Security number on his Death cert. does not belong to him and no other number can be found in any variation of the number. It is a Jackson MI SS number so for this reason I question any info on it. Can anyone tell me the best way to try and get this figured out? Nancy
