This is Shirley Morton's family.... My mother, my father, and my ex-husband all went by their middle names; it's not that unusual. My parents went by their middle names because their first names were the same as their repective parents. My husband went by his middle name because he simply didn't like his first name. Of course, this kind of name change can give us fits when trying to do genealogy -- especially when doing German immigrants! Diana
