    3. A Genealogy Christmas Twas the night before Christmas and all the thru the house, Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse. Grandpa was napping, after a long, long day, After collecting his thoughts of what to say. You see, he's been researching our family tree. Now this family tree, is not made of wood. But has charts of names, to be understood. It's taken years, to collect those names, To put them down, for Grandpa to claim. You see, He ‘researching our family tree. All those books, he must read, about those ancestors of long ago Where they lived on those deeds, makes his heart aglow.. Maps to check and court records too, just to name a few. But there a bright side to this all, for he's doing this for you and me. You see, he is researching our family tree .The computer has help Grandpa a lot. E-mail notes from cousins all about. Learning of them, so dear to his heart.. One more name to put on the family chart. Generations of names and pictures too, Neatly kept for all of you. You see, he's researching our family tree. Grandpa needs new glasses after straining to see, All those census records for you and me. There's so many records, that goes to show, Searching the family tree isn't easy, as you must know. We are blessed to have this special tree, for you and me. It doesn't matter that it is not made of wood. We know that Grandpa did the best he could. Writing it down for anyone to see.
