Mary married Vetal Bourcier and they had the following children: Alfred J (Fred) (b. abt 1883) m. Goldie Barney Rosalie Melvina Bourcier (16 Sep 1895-8 Oct 1951) m. William Conners Ellen Bourcier m. James Malley David Bourcier m. Catherine? Oliver Bourcier (17 Sep 1889-1942) m. Bernice Thayer Frozene Bourcier (b. abt 1884-1885) m. Joseph Quintal(Cantwell) Peter Bourcier died age 8 or 9 Rosalie and William were my maternal grandparents. My records indicate your Josephine married first Felix Woodcome. Their child Louis was born 23 Apr 1889 and died 10 May 1889. Alfred was born 16 Apr 1891 and died Jul 1963. Alfred appears in the 1900 Census for Malone, NY living with Jacob and Celena-parents of Mary and Josephine, and Dennis Brien (Brean)-father of Celena I don't know anything about Mary or Harry. Josephine second married a Perry but I don't have any information about this family. I would appreciate your filling me in on whatever you feel comfortable with. Sincerely, Scott

    3. A Genealogy Christmas Twas the night before Christmas and all the thru the house, Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse. Grandpa was napping, after a long, long day, After collecting his thoughts of what to say. You see, he's been researching our family tree. Now this family tree, is not made of wood. But has charts of names, to be understood. It's taken years, to collect those names, To put them down, for Grandpa to claim. You see, He ‘researching our family tree. All those books, he must read, about those ancestors of long ago Where they lived on those deeds, makes his heart aglow.. Maps to check and court records too, just to name a few. But there a bright side to this all, for he's doing this for you and me. You see, he is researching our family tree .The computer has help Grandpa a lot. E-mail notes from cousins all about. Learning of them, so dear to his heart.. One more name to put on the family chart. Generations of names and pictures too, Neatly kept for all of you. You see, he's researching our family tree. Grandpa needs new glasses after straining to see, All those census records for you and me. There's so many records, that goes to show, Searching the family tree isn't easy, as you must know. We are blessed to have this special tree, for you and me. It doesn't matter that it is not made of wood. We know that Grandpa did the best he could. Writing it down for anyone to see.     2. The Strack-L is one of RootsWebs many surname lists. These message lists are a place to exchange family info as are these message boards. The boards continue a thread that can be read at any time. The message lists are a one time message that go into a archive that can be accessed. Messages posted to this board also sent to the message list. To subscribe to the Strack-L use this address. Strack-L-request@rootsweb.com put the word subscribe in the subject field and the message area. No sig lines. The surname Strock in most cases was Strack overseas or in the 1700 when some of these lines came to America. Lines that came later retained the Strack spelling. There is one Strack line that goes back to Henry Strack who came to America in 1753. But the other children in that line use Strock today. Bob Strock

In an Alsace emmigration list, he is listed as a carpenter, place of origin Soufflenheim, destination America. Passport between 1828-1837. Emigrated to US in 1828 with two children, Peter and Melinda (Madaline). I believe he ran a glass factory in Redford, NY. Other children included Philip, b. 1828 in Vermont; Mary, b. 1834 in NY, Joseph, b. 1835 in NY; and Jacob, b. 1839 in NY. Peter and Jacob were both civil war veterans who enlisted at Plattsburgh NY. My mother is a descendent through Jacob's daughter Mary.

His name was Adolph Phillip Strack. His father was George Strack and his mother's maiden name was Laubach. He lived in the Sandusky, Ohio area for manyyears, and maried Jessie Harriet Dwelle from Kelley's Island, Ohio. They had one daughter, Alice Strack, who married Richard G. Timple from Sandusky, Ohio. Alice Strack Timple is still living, but does not now much about her father's family. Adolph Phillip Strack was born on November 6th, 1891, and died in October of 1966. If anyone out there has any information for me regarding this part our family, I'd appreciate it if you'd E-mail me at mtimple@mindspring.com Thanks!
