My gr,gr. grandmother Sarah Ann Stowell b.Feb 11, 1822 in Paris, Maine died in 1895 in Mazeppa, Minnesota. She was married to my gr.gr grandfather. John Ellingwood Hyde b. in Portland, Maine. Her father was Daniel Stowell b. April 7, 1784 in Guilford, Vermont. He married Anna Robinson born in Paris, Maine in 1793. Going back on my Stowell line-- Daniel Stowell b. Dec. 8, 1757/married Lucretia Houghton Benjamin Stowell b. 1730/married Elizabeth Parker John Stowell b. 1699 David Stowell b. 1660 Samuel Stowell b.1625

Unfortunately my genealogy program (ancient) won't let me sort by geographical location. I did scroll through all my Stowell entries though and the location doesn't show, but somewhere that town has raised a ribbon on my tree. Tim
