The gentleman who posted originally doesn't have enough information to determine much within the parameters of the Stowell book's capabilities. I looked thru most of the James Stowell's of that period and did not find any that fit the information he provided, which was a brief entry in an old church listing of former pastors in that New York town on when her served there.
