My mother was born of William Stowell b.2/1854, m. Emily White approx 1881. Walter Leslie was their son, b. 10/1886. Lucy A. Stowell was Walter's sister and my mother's Mother. My mother was given up for adoption at birth, 4/11/1916 and adopted in 1919. She has her birth certificate showing her birth mother, Lucy Stowell, a single woman. You grandfather would be my mother's cousin. Who is your father? Are any members of these Stowell's living? Mom was born at Mass. general hospital and raised in Boston area and NH.
