I would like to find out about Armina (Stowell) Wilsey's obituary. I am a ggggrandson of Dr. Hiram Stowell of DeWitt, Clinton Co., Michigan, and am trying to find his parents. Armina and David came to Michigan prior to 1840, perhaps in a 17 person group in 1836 - 1837 from New York. There is confusion as to Armina's parents, as the Stowell genealogy book says she was born to Dr. Calvin Stowell and his first wife Polly. Armina's birth was in 1809, and Polly is reported to have died in 1804. Calvin married his 3nd wife Lucy Bramhall abt. 1815.
