Hi Tim, I have not been staying up to date on the Stowell RootsWeb for a while, but the email caught my eye about my great-grandfather's bio! After all the work he did on the book tracing people down, I have no idea where my three cousins are at this point. My Dad was Eldon Stowell, and he and his brother, Averill were WHH grandchildren. Averill's children are the missing ones. I did a couple of posts quite a while ago looking for updates, but apparently they are not involved in the Roots resource! Were you at one time, or currently working on the next volume of information about the Stowell's on CD? I would be interested in adding information and obtaining a copy - Thanks! What I started with the help of others was putting the Stowell portion of the index of the book on-line - but life crowded in and that project has gone into limbo, not for lack of wanting to do it, but rather time to do it. Tim
Dear Tim: In my case, two descendants have a better grip on my sleeves than 4096 ancestors. Isn't real life pesky sometimes?! I want to reiterate that if/when you do return to the Stowell book indexing project, I am happy to do another 'letter'. Stay well... Mary Jo C. Hi Tim, I remember doing several letters of the STOWELL index a few years back. Did the letter's we finished get online? Somehow, I thought I had read the index was online completed. Hopefully I kept the file if you need the letters I did again. For any interested, I am a descendant of Hezekiah STOWELL and wife Hepzibah Persis RICE who married 1758 in Worcester MA through his daughter Persis of Bainbridge, Chenango Co. New York. Persis STOWELL married John CRAWFORD in 1819. Margaret Scheffler ----- Original Message ----- From: "Mary Jo C.
