I got off track on doing my search and have been staying at my daughters in Little Rock, AR and decided to check out some things I had found out before. My dad is Roy L. Stowell, son of Joseph Spaulding Stowell, son of Joseph Eli Stowell, son of I believe is it Joseph Salu Stowell?? And that's the part I'm wondering about-the Salu name I know it comes from Belgium-how did Josephus Salu take the name Stowell?? Or am I just getting this all confused? Help me if you can!
