I have not done a lot on my Stowell side, even though it is my maiden name because my gr grandfather, William Frances Stowell (Frank), was the town drunk and soon after he died my gr grandmother remarried, although my grandfather kept his father's name. I will dig out what I have and see if this connects. This has been a brick wall for me.
