I'm new to tracing back the Stowell line and am amazed to find out a lot of the work has already been done for me. I'm am also a direct decendent of Samual Stowell, through the Plover, IA family line via Howard Stowell. I would love to be able to get in contact with anyone related. Also, if anyone needs more recent details on that strand of the family line, I have access to many resources as I still live in Iowa.
