Aug 23, 1866 in Jasper County, Iowa and died November 9, 1954 in Los Angeles, CA. His Fathers name was Ransford B. Stowell and Mother was Sarah E. Autry. He had several brothers and sisters, Giles, David, Hattie, Lillian. They lived around Morrill County and Scottsbluff County Nebraska. I have the census record for my Grandfather William and Grandmother Edith and Mother Betty Jean in San Diego from 1933. The names you mention are very similar but I'm not sure they are the same as mine. I'm wondering if there is more than one Ransford Stowell with a son named William?

She was called home to be with God under the loving care of her three daughters and Hospice of the North Country. Janina was born in Poland on July 12, 1927, the daughter of Stanislaw and Bronislawa Tuderek. She met her husband, Wallace, in Germany after World War II where he was stationed in the U.S. Army, and were married Aug. 2, 1946. They returned to the States and lived in Star Lake for 30 years and later moved to Keeseville in 1978. Her husband, Wallace Stowell, died March 10 2001. Janina was separated from her sisters during the war at age 14. It was God's will that she be reunited with them in Poland in January of 1999 after 57 years, which was a source of great joy and happiness to her. She loved working in her flower and vegetable gardens outdoors, picking any kind of berries, playing bingo, senior citizen functions, outings and took pride in keeping her home and yard meticulous. She attended and was a member of the Church of the Nazarene. Her family was always the center of her life, with hard work, love, and harmony being the virtues she extolled. Janina is survived by three daughters and two sons-in-law, Lena and Victor Pomerville of Keeseville, Rosemary DeCirce of Keeseville and Barbara and Barry Deal of Oklahoma City, Okla.; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren; her three sisters of Poland, Helena Kujawska, Lucyna Lewandowska and Stanislawa Czajka; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband and her parents. Calling hours will be held Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Hamilton Funeral Home in Keeseville. A funeral service will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Good Shepard Church of the Nazarene in Keeseville with Pastor David Drake officiating. Burial for Mrs. Stowell and her husband will follow in the Port Douglas Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the North Country. This family is also on the 1910 in the 6th ward of Malden. Lucy is 15. Walter is the only other child still home. Lucy`s middle initial is A. she has an occupation that looks like paster, whatever that might be. William`s middle initial is W. I found a William W. Stowell in 1860 in Charlestown, Middlesex Co., Mass. with parents Elias, 40, b. ME. & Abby, 25, b. Mass. William is 6., b. Mass. On page 616 of the Stowell Genealogy by WHH Stowell is Elias Stowell born in Paris, ME. May 24, 1820, d. Paris, ME June 26, 1898, m. Cambridge, Mass. June 14, 1850, Abby Ann White, dau of Wm. & Sarah White. She was born in 1835. They had two children, Washington, b. Feb. 28, 1854 in Boston, MA., & Georgianna, b. 1851, d 1851 in Charlestown, MA. Elias` descent from the immigrant Samuel Stowell of Hingham, MA. goes Samuel, David, John, Benjamin, Elias, Rufus. This doesn`t help you find Lucy Stowell after 1920 but maybe you could try a search of marriage records in Malden. She might turn up. Good luck, Pat R. ( I also descend from Samuel & David Stowell. My line comes from David`s son Nathaniel.) 1900 > MASSACHUSETTS > MIDDLESEX > 6-WD MALDEN Series: T623 Roll: 662 Page: 118 June 11. 20 Cleveland St. STOWELL, William, head, b.
