Their children were: - Solomon (1814-1888) who married Sarah Reigel - Samuel (1815-1847) - Jonathan (1820-1874) who married Mary Mowery - Maria/Mariah (1823-1902) who married Daniel Heffner and lived in Washington Twp., Pickaway Co., OH - Malinda (1825-1847) - Jacob (1827-1891) who married Elizabeth Wannamacher - Susannah - who married David Pontius - Benjamin - Daniel (1814-1905) - David who married Isabella Klein - Matilda who married a Mr.Farst - Louisa who married a Mr. Morine - Elvina who married a Mr. Palmer You should also know that the small town of Stoutsville, OH is in Clearcreek Twp., Fairfield which abuts Washington Twp., Pickaway Co. And there are LOTS of Stouts in both counties. The only Nelson I have in my database was born 30 April 1857 and married a distant cousin of mine, Resetta Odaffer. But I think Nelson was a popular given name for the Stout family. In fact I think there is a Nelson Stout still living in the area today who is probably in his early 70's. Also, the child Maria/Mariah listed above was one of my maternal ancestors. What is your connection to the Stout family? Karen
