The following obituary appeared in the August 18, 2001, edition of the Morning News (Arkansas): SPRINGDALE -- Grace Marie Cossey, 57, of Springdale died Aug. 16, 2001, in Fayetteville. She was born Aug. 20, 1943, in Fayetteville to Leonard R. and Helen M. Stearns Stout. She was a carrier for The Morning News for 35 years and was a cashier at Wal-Mart for eight years. She was a member of Elm Springs United Methodist Church. Survivors include one son, Anthony "Tony" C. Cossey of Springdale; two daughters and one son-in-law, Angela Cousins of Springdale and Shawna Herring and Curtis of Memphis, Tenn.; four stepsons, Paul Cossey of Springdale, James Cossey and Ray Cossey, both of Rogers, Steve Cossey of Fayetteville; one brother, Robert Stout of Cabot; 15 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Mount Comfort Presbyterian Church under the direction of Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home in Springdale. Burial will be in Mount Comfort Cemetery in Fayetteville. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
