The following obituary appeared in the July 31, 2001, edition of the Concord (New Hampshire) Monitor: Donald Stout, EPSOM Tuesday, July 31, 2001 EPSOM - Donald Stout, 71, died Saturday at Catholic Medical Center in Manchester. He was born in Leominster, Mass., the son of Harry and Sara (Van Wagnen) Stout. He graduated from Leominster High School. He served as a corpsman in the U.S. Navy during the Korean conflict. After completing his tour of duty, he moved to New Hampshire where he worked in the financial business for more than 30 years. He worked as a police officer and security officer for the New Hampshire court system. He was a 30-year member of St. Andrews Lodge, F&AM in Portsmouth. Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Priscilla (Smith) Stout of Epsom; a daughter, Meredith Ritchie of Weare; three sons, F. Webster Stout of Canterbury, Jonathan Stout of New Boston and Andrew Stout of Webster; six granddaughters; two brothers, Franklin Stout of Ashburnham, Mass., and Harold Stout of Hancock; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the New England Heart Institute at Catholic Medical Center, 100 McGregor St., Manchester 03102. The Bennett Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
