The following obituary appeared in the September 1, 2001, edition of the Ann Arbor (Michigan) News: Hutchins, Sheila Ann Sumpter Twp, MI 09/01/01 Age 55, died Thursday, August 30, 2001. She was born June 6, 1946 in Ypsilanti, MI, daughter of David and Marie (Slone) Stout. On December 14, 1963 she was married to Ronald S. Hutchins in Ypsilanti and he survives. Mrs. Hutchins was currently employed by Lincoln School District as a noon supervisor. She will always be remembered for her love of family. In addition to her husband and mother, sur vivors include a daughter, Karen (Thomas) Mills and a son, Daniel Hutchins; two grandchildren, Heather Marie and Ashley Ann Mills, all of Milan; her grand mother, Delcia Slone; a brother, John Stout of Ypsilanti Twp; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, September 4, 2001 at the JANOWIAK FUNERAL HOME, Geer-Logan Chapel, Rev. Walker Harris of Belleville Free Will Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow in the Udell Cemetery. Contributions in Mrs. Hutchins memory may be made to the American Cancer Society. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home where the family will receive friends on Monday from 1-4 and 6-9 P.M.
