The following obituary appeared in the August 6, 2001, edition of the San Antonio (Texas) Express News: BARGER Susan Stout Barger passed away on Sunday, August 5, 2001 in Corpus Christi, TX at the age of 44. She worked at USAA and CTRC. Susan was preceded in death by her son, Jason O. Barger. Surviving are her parents, Jack R. and Ada Sue Stout; sisters, Ada Lee Pavlich and her husband Tom, Debra Kay Dzierzanowski, Laura Mae Dzierzanowski and her husband Tim; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, August 8, 2001, 3:00 P.M. in Sunset Funeral Home Chapel. Entombment will follow in Sunset Mausoleum II. Visitation will be Tuesday, August 7, 2001, 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to the American Diabetes Association.
