The following obituary appeared in the July 24, 2001, edition of the Norfolk (Nebraska) Daily News: Eileen Anders Faithful wife, loving mother and grandmother. BLOOMFIELD -- Graveside services for Eileen Anders, 59, Woodbury, Minn., will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 26, at the Bloomfield Cemetery. The Rev. Phillip Hannemann will officiate. Visitation will be 3-8 p.m. Wednesday at Brockham Funeral Home in Bloomfield with a 7:30 p.m. prayer service. She died Thursday, July 19, 2001, at her home. She had been ill with lung cancer since last year. The daughter of Clifford and Julia (Halvorsen) Stout was born Feb. 24, 1942, at Bloomfield. She was baptized in the Lutheran faith and confirmed at Grace Lutheran Church in Wayne. She attended rural school, Niobrara High School and Wayne State College. She married Leon Anders on Aug. 6, 1961, at First Trinity Lutheran Church in Bloomfield. She taught school in Coleridge for two years, then later became a homemaker. She began working for St. Paul Title Insurance in 1978, retiring in 1999. Mrs. Anders moved to Woodbury in 1973 and had been a member of Woodbury Lutheran Church. Survivors include her husband, two sons and their wives, Craig and Nancy of Woodbury and Todd and Rae Ann of Eagan, Minn.; her parents; two brothers, Harvey and David, both of Bloomfield; and four grandchildren.
