Stout, 76, of Fairfield will be 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Suisun-Fairfield Cemetery. The Rev. Liciano Valanzuela of Fairfield's Holy Spirit Church will officiate. Born Aug. 14, 1921, in Ontario, Canada, Mr. Stout died June 4, 1998, at Travis Air Force Base's David Grant Medical Center after a short illness. He became a naturalized citizen in 1953. He served with Canada's First Battalion of the Argyll & Sutherland Highlanders during World War II. He also served as a chief master sergeant in the U.S. Air Force for 25 years, retiring in 1976. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy. Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Sandra and Bud Goucher of Canada; cousins, Larry and Sheila Stout of Canada; and longtime friends and adopted family, Jerry and Joan Coyle and family of Fairfield.
