The following obituary appeared in the August 29, 2001, edition of the Seymour (Indiana) Tribune: Ronald Dale Stout, 59, of Butlerville, died at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2001, at Muscatatuck State Hospital, Butlerville. Born Nov. 11, 1941, in Crothersville, he was the son of the late Harold Otho Stout and Effie Perry Stout, who survives in Crothersville. Other survivors include two great nephews, Logan and Ethan Holbrook; nieces, Katrena Henson, Crothersville, Melissa Holbrook, Seymour, and Ashtin and Christin Pyle, both of French Lick and a sister, Trena June Pyle, French Lick. John Howell will conduct private funeral services. Private viewing will be held. Memorials may be given to Immanuel Lutheran Church or American Cancer Society. Adams Funeral Home, Crothersville, handled funeral arrangements.
