The following obituary appeared in the December 5, 2001, edition of the Bangor (Maine) Daily News: STOUT, Rosa (Olore), 81 PRESQUE ISLE - Rosa (Olore) Stout, 81, wife of the late Carlos J. Stout, died Dec. 3, 2001, at a Presque Isle hospital. She was born Sept. 21, 1920, in Presque Isle, the daughter of Hugo and Dorothea (Marino) Olore Sr. She was a member of St. John's Episcopal Church in Presque Isle, where she was Alter Guild director for more than 30 years, Sunday school teacher, ECW, past treasurer and several other organizations and positions within the church. Mrs. Stout was employed at Rathbun Lumber Company as bookkeeper for more than 30 years. The primary focus of her life was her family. She is survived by a son, James R. Stout and his fiance, Susan F. Marquis of Bangor; two daughters and their husbands, Sharon and Robert Lester of Presque Isle, and Dory and Jeffrey Smith of Mapleton; five grandchildren, two brothers and their wives, Hugo and Jane Olore of Presque Isle and Lou and Peg Olore of Waterbury, Conn.; two sisters, Marion Rabassa of Lewiston and Louisa Crockett of Babylon, Long Island, several nieces and nephews. Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at St. John's Episcopal Church, 52 Second St., Presque Isle. Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the church, with the Rev. Robert Smith and Rev. Susan Murphy officiating. Interment will be in Fairmount Cemetery, Presque Isle. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. John's Episcopal Church Endowment Fund, P.O.
