New information I have found about this family, if anyone is working on this family please contact me. John (jehu ) Stout from Hillsbourgh Twp. Somerset Co. New Jersey died abt. 1827. He married Elizabeth ? Possibly Conover or Stryker or Cocks(Cox). In his will he named his wife Eliza. And loving mother-in-law Elizabeth Cock as executors. They had children: Jane b.1813 d.1884 she married Samuel Cook and was widowed 1846 and left with 5 children. Also Ura Stout b. abt. 1816 she married William French and had 5 known children,she died in 1876 and was buried in Hillsbourgh cemetery. Also James Nelson Stout who b.1818 and died single in 1851 . Also Peter Stryker Stout b.1824 and married Caroline Bergen and had 2 known children, he died April 1902 in the Trenton Hospital after a long illness. The big mystery is what was Elizabeth's maiden name. Jane Stout Cook's death cert. claims it to be Elizabeth Stryker,in the 1850 census of Somerset Co. living with Peter Stryker Stout and wife are Samuel Cook (son of sister Jane) and Elizabeth Cox And Elizabeth Stryker. In 1870 in Hillsbourgh Twp.census living with Ura (Stout) French and William is Elizabeth Stryker. Any help on this will be much appreciated. Michael Cook Montgomery Co. Pa.
