He was a member of Roseberry Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn McGhee Stoutt; son, Robert A. Stoutt; daughter in law, Faye Stoutt. He is survived by his son, Kenny Stoutt and daughter in law Liz Stoutt of Mascot; daughter in law Kay Stoutt of Knoxville; grandsons and wives Allen and Sandi Stoutt of Jefferson City; Bo and Angie Stoutt of Strawberry Plains; granddaughter and husband, Kim Wilhite-McCloud and Scott McCloud of Strawberry Plains; great grandchildren, Trevor and Austin Stoutt, Rachel Stoutt, Chad and Tiffaney Wilhite; sister and brother in law, Martha and Robert Jarnagan of Knoxville; brother, David Stoutt of Knoxville; several nieces and nephews. The family will meet at 10:30 a.m. December 1, 2000 at Evergreen Chapel to proceed to Roseberry Cemetery, at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, family request that memorials be made to Roseberry Baptist Church Building Fund, 2920 Roseberry Rd., Mascot, Tenn. 37806.
