The following appeared in the December 14, 2000, edition of the Delaware State News: Ervin W. Stout, 86 HARTLY - Ervin W. Stout of Hartly died Monday, Dec. 11, 2000, in Bayhealth-Kent General Hospital, Dover. He was 86. Mr. Stout was born Feb. 25, 1914, in Plumington, N.J., son of the late Edward J. Stout and Mary E. Fink. He was formerly of Three Bridges, N.J. He was a union construction worker for many years with the Teamsters Union in Somerville, N.J. Mr. Stout loved to hunt and fish in his spare time. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Wilma E. Stout; two sons, Ervin W. Stout Jr. of Clayton and Edward J. Stout of Hartly; two daughters, Virginia Hill of Camden and Patricia Stout of Nazareth, Pa.; several grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. tonight at Hillsborough Funeral Home, 796 Route 206, Hillsborough, N.J. Service will be 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Neshanic Cemetery, Neshanic, N.J.
