The following appeared in the February 2, 2001, edition of the Morning News of Springdale, Arkansas: LOVENA STOUT REED Lovena Stout Reed, 98, of Springdale died Tuesday, Jan. 30, 2001, in Springdale. Born Aug. 22, 1902, in Hammon, Okla., she was the daughter of Donald Creath and Melinda Elizabeth Hunt Stout. She was the widow of Albert Doyle Reed. A son, Wayne W. Reed, also died before her. Survivors include two daughters, Jimmie Louise Boatright of Fayetteville, N.C., and Dovie Doyle Poulos of Tulsa, Okla.; a sister, Eva Lena Brewster of Tulsa, Okla.; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Bluff Cemetery in Springdale, with the Rev. Keith Marinus officiating under the direction of Nelson's Funeral Home of Fayetteville.
