The following appeared in The Journal-News (Hamilton OH), Friday, July 30, 1999, Page A2 - Sarah Stout, age 53, of Hamilton, went to be with our Lord on July 28, 1999. Ms. Stout was born in West Chester, to Robert and Anna Ballinger, on July 1, 1946. She dedicated her short life to assisting the elderly in their homes. She was preceded in death by her mother, Anna Ballinger and sister, Sandra Haynes. The family would like to say special thanks to the Hospice Nurses and Home Health Aides for all your compassion. The family would also like to say a very special thanks to two of her sisters, Laura Jones and Elaine Brooks and a very special friend, Debbie Carnes. She is survived by her son, David (Jenny) Stout of Hamilton and daughter, Melissa Stout and Joe Westrick of Hamilton; five grandsons, Todd, Justin, James, Jordan and Joey; one granddaughter, Tiffany; a very special father and grandfather, Robert Ballinger of West Chester; nine sisters; four brothers; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Saturday at the Colligan Funeral Home, 437 S. Third St., Hamilton, with Pastor Gary Agee, of the Hopewell First Church of God, officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held Friday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
