Hi All, Since I last asked about this couple, I've gotten quite a bit of information, which is presented below. There is a problem however. I believe that Thomas must have been married to someone besides Jannetje VAN STEE first. It appears to me that Jannetje VAN STEE is probably only the mother of John Vroom STOUT thru Carritje Stout. This conclusion is based on her date of birth and the date of the marriage. Also what I have seen in the IGI records of various children is that the children before John Vroom STOUT are listed with the parents Thomas STOUT and Jannetje, whereas John Vroom STOUT and after have the parents listed as Thomas STOUT and Jannetje Vroom VAN STEE. There also seems to be a change in the naming pattern. So the question of the day is...... Does anyone have any evidence that my speculation is correct or incorrect, or any other data that might reflect on this family. Descendants of Thomas Stout Generation No. 1 1.
